GREEK GODS AND GODDESSES, YES TO SCIENCE, AN EVOLUTIONIST AND ANTI-RIGHT HAND PAGANISM
Hermes Barquero Cambronero

This book is about veganism for animals, its difference with strict vegetarianism and about vegan nutrition where it is explained how to have a vegan diet without suffering from deficiencies. It explains why veganism is not a fad, or a religion, or a cult, and refutes those who consider it a cult. In this book you will find the philosophical background of veganism. The fallacies used by speciesists to justify the consumption of animal carcasses, hunting for pleasure or bullfighting, such as the Naturalistic Fallacy, the Fallacy of Appealing to the Majority, the Fallacy of Appealing to Traditions or the Fallacy of Appealing to Ancestors, and the belief that harming animals that have done them no harm according to them makes them «strong», «brave» or «men» is refuted. It is explained why respecting the life of animals and their rights is NOT the same as humanizing them, the alternatives that exist so that animals are not used in experimentation are presented. In addition, the concept of sensocentrism is developed, which consists of the ethical part of valuing and respecting all life with the capacity to feel physical pain, emotional suffering or both by having a nervous system. The importance of caring for the Environment is explained, because it is so important for our lives as humans as well as for the lives of animals of other species, which can be done both individually and on a global scale.
